IAF - Faculty Sponsorship Fund Request

NOTE: Faculty Sponsorship Fund requests must be received PRIOR to travel.

To support faculty sponsors of students who receive an Intercollegiate Academics Fund Travel Award to compete or present at a professional conference, the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President has established a separate Faculty Sponsorship Fund. Faculty members accompanying these students will be eligible to receive a matching dollar amount of 10% of the total student award to support their own travel costs for registration, housing and/or transportation to attend the event with their students by receiving pre-approval of travel from their department via ProTrav and submitting a completed Faculty Sponsorship Fund Request prior to travel.

Faculty Sponsorship Fund reimbursement requests MUST be made via a 'Travel Request' in ServiceHub within 21 days of completion of the trip. After 21 days, the award is canceled and funds are returned to the account for future applicants.
