IAF - Faculty Sponsorship Fund Request

NOTE: Faculty Sponsorship Fund requests must be received PRIOR to travel.

To support faculty sponsors of students who receive an Intercollegiate Academics Fund Travel Award to compete or present at a professional conference, the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President has established a separate Faculty Sponsorship Fund. Faculty members accompanying these students will be eligible to receive a matching dollar amount of 10% of the total student award to support their own travel costs for registration, housing and/or transportation to attend the event with their students by receiving pre-approval of travel from their department via ProTrav and submitting a completed Faculty Sponsorship Fund Request prior to travel.

PLEASE NOTE:

Faculty receiving Faculty Sponsorship Funds must receive pre-approval for travel via ProTrav prior to travel.

Faculty Sponsorship Fund reimbursement requests MUST be made via ProTrav within 21 days of completion of the trip. After 21 days, the award is canceled and funds are returned to the account for future applicants.
